DELE stands for Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma). DELE is the only certificate for non-native Spanish speakers that is officially recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. all don Quijote schools offer you the DELE preparation courses for the Certificado Inicial (CIE), Diploma intermedio (DIE) and the most advanced Diploma Superior (DSE) at all the don Quijote schools. Although it is possible to take the examination outside Spain, it is more practical to do it in Spain because don Quijote harmonised the place and time of the course that is established by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Examination fees are set each year by the Ministry, Instituto Cervantes and each examination centre. Deadline for enrolment is usually one month before the examination date.
