Accommodation Homestay: single room in homestay family
Scanbrit School of English attaches great importance to the students' welfare and happiness. The time the student spends with the host family can be just as important as the time spent at school. By joining in with the family activities, students will continue to learn and practice their English and continue the work they are doing in the classroom. Your selected host family will be within walking distance of the school and our Welfare Officer is in regular liaison with them. When making their enrolments, students should inform the school of any special requirements they may have and we will do our best to satisfy such requests. During the week, snack and lunches may be purchased at a reasonable cost from the school canteen

Excursions
There are full-day excursions every Saturday throughout the course. These include trips to London for sightseeing and the famous museums,to Oxford for a tour of the city’s landmarks and to Bath for its Roman Baths. There are also half day excursions every Wednesday to visit cities such as Bristol and its Harbour, or Gloucester and its historic docks and Cathedral. The students can also visit Bristol Zoo or go bowling in Cheltenham.During the course the students also experience activities such as discos, music workshops, talent nights and team games.

Sunday
We also offer a full day of on-site activities on Sundays which include swimming, team games and sports. Students can also get involved in arts challenges and music games.

Clothes/Sports Equipments
Students are recommended to prepare for good and bad weather and bring enough warm clothes. British summers are not very predictable!
Students are provided with food and drink plus a number of different activities and games.
