English Courses for Young Learners

At LAL Torbay we offer educational and exciting programmes for Young Learners which mix hard study with serious fun.
LAL Torbay is accredited by Accreditation UK in conjunction with the British Council and English UK and continually strives to achieve the highest standards. We are proud of being a centre of academic excellence and have been involved in training teachers of English as a foreign language for over 15 years.

Vacation English course

The Vacation English course is taught by experienced, qualified teachers and have been created to meet the needs of young learners. Teaching materials, which are specifically designed for holiday programmes, are used to improve vocabulary, grammar and English language skills. We focus on communication in order to unlock the language the student has learnt in their home country and our programme includes conversation work, role plays, discussions, listening and reading practice, combined with some written work.

The Vacation English Plus offers extra evening activities on top of our Vacation English programme.
