Добро Добро пожаловать в школу don Quijote - Granada
With the lush plains and snow-capped mountains of the Sierra Nevada as its backdrop, this historic city has a suitably dramatic setting in the heart of Andalusia. Granada, situated in the south of Spain, is large enough to offer the advantages of a bustling city, while at the same time maintaining the intimacy of a university town. Home to one of Spain’ s most famous landmarks, the Alhambra palace, Granada is steeped in Muslim, as well as Christian and Gitano history! Just outside the city there are plenty of opportunities to get in touch with nature and discover the small, typically Spanish villages that are scattered about the Andalusian region.
Our school in Granada is located in the heart of the old city center, in a safe, quiet area, just fifteen minutes walk from the cathedral, the Albaicín and the magnificent Alhambra! Buses depart not far from the school almost every hour for the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean coast. The school occupies a light and spacious five-storey building with lots of windows and balconies overlooking the streets. It has an intimate and relaxed atmosphere to promote a comfortable learning environment. The building is centrally-heated and airconditioned, both of which are indispensable features in Granada's extreme climate. The school uses modern teaching facilities such as computers and audio-visual aids, and houses a recreation room (equipped with computers, DVDs, sound system, books, newspapers, darts etc.) Being so centrally located means there are dozens of traditional bars nearby to grab a drink or bite to eat in between lessons. Many have terraces too so in the summer months you can relax outside and watch Granada go by.
